Learn how to set up and run Visitor Giving and raise money to support your conservation, environment and community projects at the practical 2 day training conference in the Lake District.
Nuture Lakeland is an organisation from the Lake District with the mission to involve people in the preservation of Cumbria's natural heritage. It introduced a visitor giving project for the tourism industry which is based on small voluntary donations from tourists, which are invested in different preservation projects in the Lake District. Over the last 18 years, Nurture Lakeland has raised over £2million in this way, benefitting hundreds of small, medium and large conservation projects around Cumbria.
The two day Visitor Giving Conference organized by Nurture Lakeland hosts a range of different key note speakers, workshops and master classes on the issue of making visitor payback work. Topics are: Marketing Visitor Giving, The Visitor Giving Model and how to select beneficiaries.
Venue: Low Wood Bay Resort Hotel, Windermere
